Readme

Your numpad sends F13 to F21, keys that OBS and most streaming apps can bind but no keyboard has, so nothing else will ever fire them. Bind each one to a scene, a source, or a sound.

Needs Rebind 3.5.0 or newer on Windows, macOS, or Linux. No extra permissions.

Set up

  1. Start the package.
  2. In OBS, open Settings > Hotkeys, click the field for an action, and press a numpad key. OBS records F13 to F21.

Settings

  • Sends F13 to Sends F21: the key that sends each one. Defaults numpad 1 to numpad 9. Key changes apply while the package runs on Rebind 3.9 or newer; on older versions, restart the package.

Limits

  • On Windows, turn Num Lock on. With Num Lock off, Windows reports the numpad as navigation keys, which this package does not catch.
  • On macOS, numpad 9 is left alone because macOS has no F21; numpad 1 to 8 send F13 to F20.
  • The numpad keys do not type numbers while the package runs.
  • Live use remains unverified on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Stop

Stop the package from the editor toolbar, or press Left Ctrl + Left Alt + K to stop all scripts.
