Readme

For anyone who can move the pointer but not reliably press a button. Hold the pointer still for the time you set and Rebind clicks once. Move away before then and nothing happens. It works with any pointing device, including head pointers and trackballs.

Needs Rebind 3.5.0 or newer on Windows or macOS. No extra permissions.

Settings

  • Hold still for: 300 to 2000 ms, default 800 ms.
  • Wobble allowed: how far the pointer may drift, 2 to 20 px, and still count as still.

Changes apply right away.

Limits

  • It clicks once per stop. Move the pointer past the wobble allowance to arm the next click.
  • Nothing is clicked until the pointer has moved once after the package starts.
  • There is no pause key; stop the package to stop dwell clicking.
  • Live use remains unverified on Windows and macOS.

Stop

Stop the package from the editor toolbar, or press Left Ctrl + Left Alt + K to stop all scripts.
