Reverse or rotate mouse movement and adjust horizontal and vertical sensitivity separately. You can also make sensitivity change with movement speed.

Set up

Needs Rebind 3.5.0 or newer on Windows or macOS and a connected, authenticated Rebind Link. Forward your mouse through hardware mode. Software mode is unsupported. Live hardware use remains unverified.

Open the package's main.luau in Rebind, select Options, and start it from the editor toolbar. Settings save automatically and apply while running. Defaults leave movement unchanged.

Tune movement

  1. Use Invert horizontal input or Invert vertical input to reverse a direction.
  2. Adjust Rotation (clockwise). With inversion off, +90° turns rightward movement downward; -90° turns it upward.
  3. Set Horizontal sensitivity and Vertical sensitivity. These apply after rotation, so horizontal always means the final left/right movement.
  4. Turn on Use a movement curve to vary sensitivity with speed:
    • Linear changes evenly, Smooth eases at both ends, and Quadratic changes slowly at first.
    • Slow movement gain and Fast movement gain multiply your sensitivities. Set fast above slow to speed up, below slow to slow down, or equal for constant sensitivity.
    • Transition speed sets when Fast movement gain is reached. Higher mouse sensitivity (DPI) reaches it with less hand movement; it does not measure screen pixels.

Start with the curve off and tune the two sensitivities first. Reset to defaults restores the original settings. Your computer's pointer settings also affect the result.

Turn off or stop

  • F8 or Apply transforms turns the effect off or on. Toggle key changes F8 to another key; key changes apply while the package runs on Rebind 3.9 or newer, and on older versions after a restart. The toggle key is reserved while running; other keys, mouse buttons, and scrolling keep their normal actions.
  • Stop from the editor toolbar. Left Ctrl + Left Alt + K (Left Control + Left Option + K on macOS) stops all scripts and releases held input.
  • Run only one mouse-movement script at a time. Turning this one off or stopping it discards movement still waiting to be applied; it never holds a key or button.
