Save up to five pieces of copied text and type any of them back later with a shortcut.
Needs Rebind 3.5.0 or newer on Windows or macOS.
Use
- Copy text as usual.
- Press Ctrl+Alt+1 through Ctrl+Alt+5 to save it in that slot.
- Press Ctrl+Shift with the same number to type it into the current app. Typing starts when you release the keys.
In Options, Capture: modifier + slot key and Insert: modifier + slot key change the held keys, and Slot 1 key through Slot 5 key change the numbers. Restart the package after changing a slot key.
Limits
- Slots fill only when you press a save shortcut, and they clear when the package stops.
- Typing a slot leaves your clipboard unchanged.
- The shortcuts replace any other use of the same key combinations while the package runs.
- Long text takes longer to type, and some apps may miss characters.
- Live use remains unverified on Windows and macOS.
Stop
Stop the package from the editor toolbar, or press Left Ctrl + Left Alt + K (Left Control + Left Option + K on macOS) to stop all scripts.
