Move, resize, and arrange windows with shortcuts.
Needs Rebind 3.5.0 or newer on Windows.
Mouse controls
- Alt + left drag: move the window under the pointer.
- Alt + right drag: resize from the corner nearest the pointer when you press. The opposite corner stays fixed.
Hold only Alt. With Ctrl, Shift, or Win also held, clicks behave normally. Maximized windows are left alone. Releasing the button sends a short Ctrl tap so the window's menu bar does not open.
Keyboard controls
Hold Ctrl+Alt and press a key to act on the focused window:
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| Left / Right | Fill the left / right half of the monitor under the pointer |
| Up / Down | Maximize / restore |
| P | Keep above other windows, or unpin it |
Half-screen placement leaves room for the taskbar.
Settings
Open the package in Rebind and select Options.
- Drag tab: turn off Alt+drag moves, Alt+right-drag resizes to use only the keyboard.
- Keys tab: Modifier held with every slot key picks Ctrl+Alt, Ctrl+Shift, Alt+Shift, or Ctrl+Alt+Shift. Left half, Right half, Maximize, Restore, and Pin or unpin on top set the keys. Restart the package after changing a key.
Stop
Stop the package from the editor toolbar, or press Left Ctrl + Left Alt + K to stop all scripts. Stopping unpins the windows it pinned.
Some fullscreen apps ignore pinned windows. Use on Windows hardware remains unverified.
